...yesterday. Feels like a big movie star died, but thinking about it I never really saw him in much. Goodfellas, one of my favourite films, Field of Dreams, didn't like it, Sin City: a dame to kill for, fun. I may have seen him in other stuff but just don't remember. Looking at his appearances on IMDB I must have seen him in more things.

yeah, he's had a lot of quiet success I suppose. Incredibly good in Goodfellas, of course, even considering the star quality around him in that film.

GTA Vice City as well, for the gamers amongst us!

Apparently he was in the execrable, embarrassingly amateurish Texas Rising miniseries, not that I noticed.

He was in loads of things I've seen, I just don't remember him. Not his fault. I think that unless a co-star gets a really juicy character part they often aren't remembered.

I'd never heard of Texas Rising. Has a lot of good actors. Roland Joffé has directed some great stuff and also some that smell like what the cat ate yesterday. It won a lot of awards for sound.

I thought The Mission was quite good ... T.R., I dunno, he dialed it in? It was like an amateur theatre troop with literally zero movie making experience and a political agenda got a hold of a whack of money, bought some gear, and hired some name actors to reenact the Texas School Board version for grade fours. History Channel stuff, I suppose: Ancient Aliens, Ice Road Truckers, Storage Wars ... need I go on?
