Cinéma du trash kings Luc Besson and Brucey pair up.

Brucey acts the whole gamut of emotions from A to B, Milla Jovovich almost wears a ribbon designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, Gary Oldman hams it up, what's not to like?

A few of the scenes were quite well done, and overall the scifi designs were pretty cool, when they weren't overdone.

If you want to compare trash cinema, Sin City, about trashy characters in totally OTT trashy situations, is relatively deep, and Bruce comes out a whole lot better in it.
