I hate this movie. I watched it when it was released and swore never to view it again. 

The hate's become so ingrained that I can't remember why I hate it, all I can recall is a feeling of loathing that has superceded Alec Baldwin's acting, any plot contrivances and pretentious kids.

With few exceptions (Death Becomes Her, Mortal Thoughts, there may be others), BW always plays the same soft-spoken-tough-guy-blue-collar-hero character with a heart of gold yadda.

This was no exception.
