None are going to be as cool as mine since most of you seem to run fucking *Windows. That's dwm, that is. Software clockwise from left: Neovim, nnn and ytp (which is a shitty little bash script I made for searching and playing Youtubes). Not included right monitors cos, well, it's more of the same really. Wallpaper is generated by a script I made which, once an hour, looks for video files in my storage, chooses a random frame from a random file, does a fake colour separation effect on it, does a fake chromatic aberration effect on it, the makes it my wallpaper. (Current one is from an episode of Star Trek TOS, if anyone's interested). This my WFH view. 3 monitor setup at home. Using the centre and right on an RDP connection to my work computer. Left as my own browsing on my local computer. Tend to go for Outlook email on the right, MRP system on the centre as they're my primary focus. There you can see a photo of some products that someone is complaining about to me. Wallpaper is currently a pano I took in Madeira in March. Tend to use Ubuntu for personal stuff, dual booting. But that's just running Gnome, nothing interesting. Your desktop looks lovely. Might (probably won't) look at a tile WM on ubuntu. Though that dwm looks interesting that it's dynamic. A

That's a lovely wallpaper that is. Your overlapping windows are, of course, an affront to nature. I do like tilers. Took me a while to get my head round them but it's one of those things where, once you get it and it clicks with you, it's basically impossible to go back. i3's a good place to start since it's less of a leap. I did have one that was the same res (but different physical size) in the middle, but it mysteriously died 2 days into WFH. So I had to liberate this shitty Samsung from the loft. I hate it, colour is all wrong, viewing angle is shit, brightness/contrast is awful, and the DPI is so low that everything looks shit and jaggy. The outer two (and previous centre screen) were 'acquired' from a pharma lab that used share a site with my old work. They moved out and me and a colleague spent two weeks stealing anything interesting that was left behind. I scored 3 monitors, loads of surge protected extension leads, a UPC for my server, some blinds and about seven kilometres of network cable. I did look into running z/OS on Hercules a couple of years ago, simply because I enjoy messing around in a TSO/ISPF environment (sad, I know). Hercules is free - z/OS isn't but the internet is big, but it's really, really hard to implement and after I'd spent a couple of months looking at the logistics I decided against it. never trust a man in a blue trench coat, never drive a car when you're dead
