On 17 December 2018, Radio 3 broadcast a performance of Kevin Puts' Opera Silent Night.

It's not a great opera tbh, but Opera North's semi-staged performance of it at Leeds Town Hall was excellent. The chorus Sleep is a minute or two of transcendental brilliance.  You can see a bit of it here:



I would dearly love to have a recording of the R3 broadcast. I already have the Minnesota Opera premiere recording from here, but the chorus is nowhere near as good and Sleep is interrupted by the stage revolve and the audience applauding the new set. Bloody Merkan vulgarians.

I know that one or two of you have access to repositories of content unavailable to me. Should anyone come across it, my gratitude would know only marginal bounds.

It's entirely possible, of course, that a recording does not exist.
