For us the good times began Saturday with live music by LA-based Tony Peebles + excellent local pickup band at The Pilot pub. Sunday an authentic -ish Hannukah meal provided by a friend and brief exploration of a new-to-us neighborhood (Bathurst, n. of Eglinton). Monday we went to Wexford's old-timey (1970s) drug store and an amazing ME pastry shop with super-strong Turkish coffee. Yesterday we went to the ROM for an awesome special exhibition + the usual awesomeness (Mrs.D likes dinosaurs, me the Asian ceramics). More in store!
Excellent - top marks to that sis. My own got me a decent port and a trashy horror novel.
Charlotte the harlot got me a really interesting Georgian dwarf ale glass, an ukiyo-e three-tiered set of drawers, a compilation of Victorian horror stories and a shedload of other bits and bobs. She knows me so well

In truth my sister and her husband got me a "game camera", the kind you stick on a tree. Not real sure what the angle is, seeings how we live in a high-rise, though not nearly as high as the eponymous film, and the only wildlife that appear on/near our balcony are pigeons and the occasional hawk.
