NY resolution: I've got to make it through the incredibly dull prelude to Dying Light, trapped in an abandoned building trying to find medical supplies for something I can't even fucking remember, so I can get on with thrashing zombies. The parkour stuff looks pretty cool too.

I'm still working out how best to cope with FC5's peggie swarms, when a airplane, 3 pickups with mounted HMGs, and a flamethrower dude converge on me and my merry band of GfH, while several archers fire arrows at us from a safe distance and "judge" wolves [on drugs] run amok.

Strafing in circles blindly shooting the largest LMG I can afford works for me most of the time. If it doesn't I bugger off into the wilderness and kill things till I've levelled up.

The double-barrelled shotgun (not the sawed off 'pistol' one) with incendiary shells is very effective against both pickups and choppers in range (~100 feet). (I like it moreso than the pump shotgun models, because you can switch out shells really fast as needed, and it seems to pack more of a punch)

I rarely even pick up a shotgun in FC - my standard loadout (as soon as I can afford it) is a grenade launcher, a powerful bow, a beefy LMG and a sniper rifle.

I dunno if the shotguns are generally good in the other FCs, I seldom use them except in 5 they are standard on account of all the choppers (I've been roaming around for most of 2019 with John and Jacob holed up with hostages, waiting for the game finale that never comes).
I sent you a PM by the way.
