Anybody watching the Watchmen?

Toyed with getting a Now TV subscription, as I don't have Sky, but I'll probably just wait until Netflix or Amazon pick it up eventually or borrow it from Jim if I get desperate.

Yeah, I really liked the movie. The critics were divided from what I've seen.

I have two versions of it: the standard "theatrical release" and the so-called "ultimate cut" that has the animated "Tales of the Black Freighter" mixed into The Director's Cut. For some reason or another I haven't got round to watching that yet. It has been suggested that I have the worst two versions and that the Director's cut is best.

I'm also reading how the alt-right and assorted fellow-travellers are hating the new series last-Jedi stylee.

The movie was great, the Rorschach scenes in the prison are brutal, but I think the most entertaining. You get to see just how much of a callous bastard he is, but completely at ease with it, not bothered who he comes up against, he retains a measured arrogance, knowing he's going to win.
Haven't seen the series yet, but will check it out at some point.
