I might have to get Ellie Dangerous, although I fear it may lead to me vanishing off into the cosmos for years, much like when I vanished off into Skyrim for years.
Yeah I have a feeling it I start playing ED I will either get bored quickly and never play it again, or be totally lost, never to be seen by anyone again.
I need to have another go at getting into Elite. For 71p you might as well do Portal 2, surely.
I remember when these were exciting events but they seem to frequent and the different digital shops seem to have lessened the appeal. I haven't even bothered going to see what's on sale yet this time, still got a huge backlog of games I'm not getting anywhere with.
It's apparently a L4D (left for dead) expansion pack and quite recently updated to include the full slate of characters, not sure if you need the original game, but that's not listed as a requirement. I had a lot of fun with L4D & L4D2 within their old-school FPS limitations. I like the nazi zombies / get Hitler scenario well enuf to gamble ten bucks on it. If I do.
I'm spending shocking, disgraceful amounts of time immersed in FC5, random bushwhackings wif my two GFH backups and building an obscene cash balance from indiscriminate slaughter of innocent wild creatures (nearing 300K. er, dollars, not creatures.)
Portal 2 is well worth it. Far more expansive than the first and much funnier (if you like Stephen Merchant).
I've just got Metal Gear Solid 5 in the sale and spent the underwhelming first hour crawling on my belly escaping a hospital while surviving many improbable explosions. I've never played a MGS game before and have obviously missed crucial bits of the lore, but I didn't realise there was so much supernatural crap in it.
I'll definitely get Portal 2. I don't know if I'll get anything else. I don't have a huge amount of time for gaming these days (says me who's reserved Valve's VR headset) and I still have some free GoG games I haven't even tried.
Oh cool, yeah L4D is fun. I bought it on sale years ago, not sure if it was 1 or 2. I played it a couple of times but haven't really made the most of it.
