I'm never sure if Leon's contractor is keeping his money for him, as a kind of bank, or if because of Leon's perceived naivete about the money, the contractor's just keeping him sweet and paying him a nominal amount to keep him on the books as it were. Drawings n' that PIBEES

I think Leon's motivation is to be a master assassin, the money is a pretense. Otherwise he would not be wasting his time messing about with a pre-adolescent girl. Unless...
