My new gaff - Otley Courthouse Arts Centre - is developed within a Victorian cell-block & Court House (as the name might suggest). During desultory talk with the spectacularly moustached Peer, I mentioned that legend claims our bar was built directly over the painted line that drunks were obliged to walk to determine their sobriety.
