If anyone wants to pay quite a lot more for drinks I know a pretty tiny place nearby that serves interesting craft ales and such. Well, and say "and such" but there's little else in truth. It's probably not our collective scene really. And there's another one or two bars nearby for cocktails. But otherwise all the pubs round there are generic and we might as well start in the one we know. IMO. if the weather's nice there's a tiny hidden park around the corner so we could get cans and drink al fresco.

Start in a pub and end the day in the park with some White Lightning* and B&Q Special. Doesn't that get boring?

*my great uncle Sam Inch was a cider maker responsible for White Lightning until he was bought out by Bulmers

I'm in the hospital now, around Waterloo. So close and yet so far! By the sounds of things I'll be lucky to make it out of here in time to join you, but I'll do my best.

He is hungry (no food for 12 hours but effectively longer since he's a relatively early op). Think he's due in theatre at 1 so not much to report yet. Thanks!

Running later than planned, but on route - I guess I'll probably be at Fitz around 2-2:30 depending how long my Park Cameras detour takes.

We've moved into obe of the snug bars cos it's slightly drizzly. Could be Teh's smallest ever Meat. Me, Charlotte, Gabe (shortly) and BP!

Glad Dylan is ok, sorry I wasn't faster with the operation.

It was a shame more didn't attend... no events to rival drunken Scottishes or broken Mouses, but definitely the best meat-where-half-the-attendees-were-not-forumites.

Glad to hear the lad has been successfully docked of superfluous bits.

It was, as ever, a pleasure to share company with BP, along with the booty of his (covetable) bargain buy.  It might be arguable just how many cameras BeeP needs, but as an owner of 7 projectors, I'm not in any position to cast stones.

We came, we drank, we talked Teh, we ate pizza.

I have maybe eleven different devices with cameras attached, in varying degrees of functionalness, but only two active photography cameras.

Ah balls, sorry all, this completely slipped past us (where the hell did July come from?). We'll be at the next one.

Although I did enjoy the rather intimate (as in, you know, small) Meat a few years ago where it was just Mouse, Manthorp, and a pre-baby Keeley and Oscar and us so I'm sure you folks made the most of it.

Where/when's the next one going to be? *votes York*
