I went with a MicroQube - at 331×208×233 mm it's slightly bigger than A4.

Inside will be a Skylake i3 6100T 3.2GHz, 16GB 2400Mhz DDR4, and 1TB Seagate Hybrid - I'll probably put a real SSD in at a later date.

Only onboard graphics, but it does more than the available monitors (1920x1200 on DVI, 4K on 2×DVI), so is plenty for now.

Has a USB 3.1 Type C, six regular USB 3.0 ports (good, no need for a separate hub), two 1gbps wired ports, and lots of different wifi and bluetooth standards.

Oh yeah, and whilst the PSU stays below 55ºC the loudest thing will be the hard-drive other nearby machines. :)
