this is a weird story. Wasn't it not that long ago that the same story was in a spoof article? Also apparently the real objections were quite valid - the town having to pay for the solar farm but not actually receive any of its benefits, that sort of thing.
I hope at least that moron quoted was for real, it'd be nice to have these funny stories actually remain so rather than be fabrications.
