Pushbullet - who uses it? What do you use it for?

Been seeing it all over the place but never known what to use it for.

I wanted a free and easy way to send notifications to my phone when one of my RPis detected motion and took a photo.

I was using an SMS service but that stopped working and had limited amounts of texts per month for free.

Gave Pushbullet a look and it's the ideal replacement, currently sending the URL of the photo, I think I could probably send the photo if I wanted to since file transfers are possible.

I use it, but not for anything fancy yet. Just the more usual SMS and other notifications. Did think about integrating functionality into Beehive, but haven't found the motivation yet.

I was using it, only to text from my PC, but then I got SideSync from Samsung and gave up on PB.  Sounds like you found a good use for it though!
