It's Paradox and it's going to have the Crusader Kings/Europa Universalis model of DLC. Which basically means: Lots of stuff for free, lot of super cheap completely cosmetic stuff and several expansion-size DLCs at decent (~$15) prices.
(And when they add a big expansion for CK/EU they put any mechanical stuff that isn't specific to the expansion back into the base game, so everyone gets it).
Paradox tend to DLC *right*.
Deluxe version's not really worth getting. It just has 5 monuments (Eiffel Tower and stuff) and the soundtrack.
It's made by Finns and published by Swedes. They've done the architecture American as a default but it's totally mod-able and people are *sure* to do other styles of buildings.
Other than that it's got a very European feel (roundabouts!).
dodgy. I think Cdkeys are doing this cheap enough for me to not bother with borderline-illegal codes that might get deactivated any moment that Valve or Paradox wish it.
You can tell I'm a tight bastard but you're right, the difference isn't too huge. Looks like the Deluxe version is about £15 through various non-russian outlets.
I don't think Deluxe has much over the standard does it? A few things like Eiffel Tower and that's about it. Meh.
I just lost 80 minutes to the game very easily, it's quite pleasant really. I'm playing at 3620x2263 downsampled with everything maxed out (giggle)
I just edited in what I'm playing it set to. It's not really pushing this computer much at the moment... kinda weird looking game in a way, the depth of field filter they've got on there to make it look like a toy looks quite odd at certain zoom levels and distances.
