I was shocked to discover my new installation of xp sp3 did not have ie8 (it still had the default ie6). OK I forgot ie8 is a manual install. Then I went to MS to download it, and they said it is not compatible with xp 32-bit. FUCKING LIARS! I've installed ie8 on xp at least a dozen times. Luckily I had an ie8 installer archived, so I'm installing it now. Microsoft and Apple are LIARS! I hate you all. ---- "Ninety percent of Americans use the Internet. Plus it hasn't reached end of life. I'm interested to see what MS will do when someone releases a show stopping virus. I wonder if they will refuse to patch it or if the pressure to do so will be to great. They may actually be wishing for that to happen to speed up the adoption of newer OS's. I'm running the 10 Technical Review and it's no different than 8 with a hybrid start menu. Of course it's still early so lots could change before it's released I guess. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you don't like donut, then leave it alone.
