How come keyboards are still produced with a scroll lock light, when scroll lock is considered a deprecated feature? Would it not be more useful to have an 'insert' light for the many many times I've pressed it and not realised. There's no doubt some jiggery pokery I could be doing with a soldering iron to remedy the situation myself, but is there an argument for keeping the scroll lock light over something which would be more used/useful.
I see the benefits for keeping it, and depending on personal use it's either going to be something that's useful or just ignored.
My point was that it'd be better having a light for the insert key as /shurly/ that's more used/hit erroneously and therefore in need of an indicator than the scroll lock.
