Does anyone have a jimlad version of a blueray player for Windows 7 or 8? I have tried to use VLC but the key library is not upto date and does not play new Blurays.

This really shold be built into windows 8 but its just another MS fail..

Thanks for the idea but that refuses to work on my HTPC.

You could try XBMC, if not, I'd aim for PowerDVD?

I am wokring on XBMC now but its rather clunky (and MakeMKV is now only a 30 day trial!)
I actually have a legit copy of powerdvd somewhere but I think it got lost in the last move.
Perhaps I need to find a torrenty friend of it.

Or, buy/Jimlad a version of AnyDVD HD. That'll strip the DRM out of Blu-rays, allowing VLC to happily play them.
