Been a while since I've seen one of these threads, so I'm wondering whether it's just my connection or something, but loading a thread seems to take a while every now and then. Doesn't seem to happen all the time, but often enough to notice.

I think it might just be the volume of traffic we sometimes get, as evident by the 30+ visitors that were online at 11am this morning. Could probably do with some more aggressive caching for guests, that completely avoids the database.
