Sometimes. My wife won 5,000 on a scratch off ticket once. But that's the most we've ever won. But I rarely play.

I did my first solo at 18 hours. It would have been at 15 but I made the 100 hour mistake early. I have about 35 hours logged now.

 

Actually the instruction time varies a bit with the type of flight training the student undertakes, whether part 61 or 141,

I wouldn't be able to fly over there with what I fly and the radios would be different. Rules are different over there so I'd have to probably take a written test for aviation and comms, plus also a practical test to be allowed to rent an aircraft there.

If you should show up here you could go up on a Severe Clear® Sunday. ;-)

I found a reference to some documentary about the Iraq war (which is also available over here), but nothing about Sundays.
