I still don't understand why they paid John Rhys Davis to play Brian Blessed in the Lord of the Rings films, instead of just getting Brian Blessed in.

It's enough to make more ignore the not-so-brilliant TomTom map graphics.

I'd have to connect the satnav to the car stereo for the full effect though.

Brian doesn't do dwarfs and couldn't have lowered his voice enough to orate the 'toss me' line with the same gravitas John Rhys-Davis did.
