Lots of them. Some new features for you to try and find, lots and lots of fixes and a few changes here and there.

If you have wonky styles or Javascript errors you will need to clear your browser cache. Note that force refreshing won't be enough. You will need to clear the cache for tehforum.co.uk / m.tehforum.co.uk and possibly even shutdown and restart your browser.

Hugs and Kisses.

Hooray!

Although shame on you for making me google to find out how to clear cache in Firefox :$

Fista is a reference to the sexual pastime of fisting, during which the penetrator introduces their fist into the anus or vagina of the receiver. The penetrator may use lubricant to ease the passage. I'm not sure what the penetrator gets out of this, other than poo under their fingernails, but there you go. Referring to Vista as Fista indicates that the user feels that they've been fisted by Micro$haft. Whether or not the company used lubricant is a matter of debate. I suspect that it has poo under its fingernails though.

I was stuck with the problem that SHIELDSIT was experiencing where the thread options were stuck open on every post (this was IE8).Clearing the cache didn't fix it, nor a browser restart. In the end toggling compatibility view on and off fixed it. Don't know why (obviously).

Don't know if this is related to the upgrade, but now, when i click on an unread thread, that removes the unread thread icon next to all the other unread threads. I have to keep clicking "messages" in the top menu to get them to re-appear. Don't know if it's a cache thing - i have FF set to clear its cache every time i close the browser, which i've done twice, and it's still doing the same thing.

Do you have any errors reported in the Error Console (not the Java Console) in Firefox?

That should be fixed now. You might need to clear cache again / restart browser to get it to work correctly.

I got it in ff till I cleared cache. No errors, status bar saying something like JavaScript (void) or something.

Fixed when cache cleared tho.

My Controls > Thread Subscriptions - giving an Error. (An error has occured. Please wait a few moments and then click the Retry button below. Details of the error have been saved to the default error log.)

(and in response to the other thread...)
The More button does work for me in Chrome (5.0.307.1 dev).

Also found a weird thing with the Links page:
http://www.tehforum.co.uk/forum/links_detail.php?webtag=DEFAULT&lid=201&fid=1&page=1

Both the <title> tag plus the <link rel="search" ... /> title attribute are containing HTML tags.

Hi Matt - hope this doesn't add to you woes, but it isn't fixed for me using IE8 in XP. After a cache clear plus browser restart, if I click on an unread thread, then all the other unread icons disappear - change to dots.

Also the 'more' button doesn't work - i.e. no thread options display if I click it.

No idea why the post options menu doesn't work for you, it's working fine here in IE8 on Windows 7. Unfortunately I don't have a XP machine with IE8 on it, but I can't imagine it would be much different.

The icon thing should definitely be fixed now, of course you'll need to clear cache once again to get it working.

OK - icons are all sweetness and light now.

Thread options though, umm, they're open now, when I start browsing on teh forum, and close when I click the 'more' button.

That goes for IE8 on XP and IE8 on Win 7.

The post options menu is open for me too, on Chrome (or Chromium I guess). Though it was fixed before but then unfixed this evening.

Appears not to be posting, like nothing happens when you click Post?

The rest of these things with the menu now stuck out are definitely sounding like cache issues still, with either the Javascript or the style sheets not clearing correctly (usually the former).
