I need a slideshow application within a week to a fortnight which will do the following:

  • Choose a folder randomly from a number of sub-folders within an Uberfolder
  • Play the jpegs (named by time and date of recording) inside the folder consecutively, fullscreen...
  • ...but with a small, randomly chosen coloured border around each subfolder set of images, with a new colour chosen for the next sub-folder, and the next, and the next; so that each sequence is identified as such. doesn't need a huge number of colours, just a handful or so...
  • Images to fade in and out, ideally, rather than drop in and out
  • Then play another randomly chosen folder ad infinitum
  • The application must run on Windows Server 2003, and must be able to launch & run at boot without being set up.

I haven't got a lot of money for this, but I could pay, say £250? I don't know, frankly, whether that wee amount is worth anybody's time.

Anyway, if anybody's interested, just PM me.
