Someone has asked me if I can recommend any jQuery books, but I don't have any.

Since there are at least a few people here that also like it, I figured I'd check for suggestions rather than reply empty handed.

So, any ideas?

I'm not going to use it at all.

I don't know what the person who asked is doing now.

Their department/company did get switched over to PHP/Drupal at some point, but I think the idiot responsible for that has moved on now, and I've heard rumours of them doing C#.NET

They're in a rather chameleon-like division I think - frequently re-branded and I cynically suspect rarely doing much real work.

Manning Press have got a jQuery In Action book which I've not actually read, but I have several other books in that series and they're all very good.
