ASP.NET getting jQuery

Microsoft are going to include jQuery in the ASP.NET MVC Framework. The actual jQuery, not an MS implementation. Including full Intellisense support in VS2008.

Which is nice.

Very interesting. Pretty much seals the deal of it being the Javascript framework of choice (for me anyway, I'm slowly drifting towards .NET stuff rather than PHP these days). Shame, as I know Mootools inside out but oh well.

Also, I can't wait for that MVC stuff. I fucking hate the ASP.NET forms model.

Have you heard of "slobber"? Do you tend to think of it as a positive term? Because the one thing that dogs can be trusted to do, besides thumping gaseous dead rats out their ass and besides biting everybody, is to slobber all over themselves and you. You need to do some serious thinking about whether a dog is really what you need in your life right now.
