Anyone wanna have a bot fight?

I've just started work on my own. Plus a javascript/ajax interface for watching the fights happen :)

Hmm, seems like it could be a laugh to script but it's just so.....uh....pointless. And it seems relatively time consuming. I may give it a shot this eve.

We seem to have a conflict of interest, because I couldn't give a shit.

heh...

cant see them firing or scanning at the moment though. HTML/javascript isnt really the right tool for it.

Hmmm, have to wait for ages for it loading, then suddenly it rushes and does stuff - could there be a 'press button to begin' thing after the data has loaded?

Looks like it could turn out good though - have you mentioned it yet to the magazine organising the thing?

Yeah I need to put a speed slider on there and a repeat button, i think. Also would be handy to see each players health levels and who they actually are.

and yeah - i've mentioned it to them and they like it. I think they're thinking about starting on their own one.

Hmm. I need to find a way to check which areas i've recently scanned and which areas i havent scanned for a while, also work out which scan angles cover the most ground per scan.

:-((

It could just be me but does anyone else wonder what the point in making a coded bot is? Rather pointless?

Yes, I know plenty of other things we do, and I probably do, are very pointless, but this seems to be right up there as a complete waste of time.
