Is rapidly approaching. And I've got to try and get up early. Whilst losing as little sleep as possible.

Argh. :S

I loathe and detest sleep. Like Poe, I regard it as a little slice of death. If I could take the pill that banished sleep, I would: so many groovy things to do, so little time to cram it all in...

My sleep pattern varies considerably, but the nearest to average is going to bed between 12pm and 1am and rising between 4 and 5.30am.

I need time alone in the morning to potter about, burn the night's jimlad goodies, drink coffee, walk the dog and get my day sorted. I like being up to greet people as they rise.

I like my bed. A lot. I hate going to bed, but I also hate getting out of it the following morning :(

^ *Seconds those two* (or is it thirds?)

I sleep 3am - 1pm except when I need to get up, in which case I do so at around 9:00 - 9:30. I seem to have a tired period around 6pm - 8pm where I want to fall asleep and will do in just a second... Then suddenly its 9pm and I'm wide awake for the next 6 hours.

You have to spend your waking life in such a drunken, crazed stupor that you can't tell you're tired.

Not bad. I thought this song might be anti-God, but it seems more to be against the president, which is cool by me.

I'd like not to have to sleep, but as it is, I like to have enough of it. It always feels, during the week, as if I can't get enough, despite normally going to sleep before midnight and getting up at 6am.

People need less sleep as they get older. Ahem.

There's your problem then. 'Normal' people are supposed to make sure they get at least 8 hours of sleep per night.

As of late I have been unable to get to sleep. It's really quite frustrating. Last night (or this morning) it was about 6:30AM before I managed to fall asleep. After that it's fine and usually takes a nuclear bomb to get me out of bed.

I usually read a little until I am tired but then as soon as I put the book down and try to sleep I am wide awake again. It's not fair :( But on the plus side, I have also been having weird dreams to go with the insomnia.

I'm doing that at the moment. Only without the plus side of the weird dreams. Bum.
