So what do you think of the assertion (nearly said argument, but haven't heard one yet) that all photographs have been taken? I assume it's more or less the same idea as all stories have been told etc. 

 

I don't think all the photographs have been taken, in fact it's an impossibility. No doubt many ideas in photography have been repeated to death, the stuff of glossy calendars.

I'm pretty sure every cat picture's been taken though. And posted on Insta.

You're probably right about cats.

I see some of what people are getting at when they say things like "there are no new pictures/stories" but I think it's misguided. And yes about doing some simple ideas to death.

The world keeps on changing. Ergo new pictures.
