Elias Koteas nails it, should have an oscar for this.

...it's that fucking good. Willam Macy gets star billing for meh (by his standards) cameo appearance, such are the exigencies of film marketing. Otherwise the cast, screenplay and cinematography are brilliant. A black comedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final credits.
