E.T. finds theyself* in otherworldly aussie soap, with soapy complications.



* IIRC, E.T. was an alien of the non-binary persuasion.

(we watched some or another season not the first, probably much like the others, hence the question mark in title year given)

We watched a few of these together and (I think) Mrs WmA watched the whole series. Most of the stories focussed on prejudices: rich/poor, gay/straight, antisemitism, but only one brief item followed the treatment of aboriginal Australians. 

The particular series we just watched featured an aboriginal man in several cringe-worthy scenes, including being stood up on a political platform as 'some of my best friends are...' fodder.
