Mettakiddie/reddit Star Wars kiddies were pleased to have a R E A L M A N back as the Star Wars star. Star Wars diehards were divided. I quite enjoyed the movie - but then I'd have been happy with the original 3. Somehow I don't think people are going to talk about looking back on the opening sequences of Solo (or any of the followers-on) as they talk about seeing Star Wars for the first time in a cinema. Neither do people look forward to the next instalment as they looked forward to 'the Empire Strikes Back' or 'return of the Jedi'. Doesn't make them bad films.
