Overall this was pretty good, though not really groundbreaking for a twenty-teen HBO series. However the last episode started out as very promising, then wrapped up pretty much everything in a bow, American-stylee.
They left one loose end for a second season, which never materialized -- it got cancelled because three racehorses died during filming, among other reasons.
