FC4: what else?

So I've done the mssions once, and the base caps, exotic animal hunts and random drive-bys. Is any of the other stuff worth delving into: the arena*, the go-cart races, and all that stuff on the right side of the splash page?

*kind of want to try out the bushmaster but not if it's a total slog.

The assassinations are entertaining.

Yeah those are great. I've got the one at the training school lined up. I've pretty much done all the base 'xtras', just not all the Y&J (did one of those so far), the arena, the races, the survivor thingies (no idea what those are).

Having a blast redoing all the base caps with my new fave loadout: the pimped-out crossbow (replaces pretty much all suppressed weapons including sniper), an SMG, LMG, and the AMR (replaces grenade launcher and RPG).

The Reggie and Yogi missions are good, once you're past the spoken introduction, the meat of the missions where you're hunting them down (as I think I've alluded to before) have some of the best in game music I've heard and some interesting gameplay mechanics. They're not very long, but worthwhile.

The bushmaster quests are probably my least favourite of all the sub-missions. I enjoyed the racing missions, though, and they tightened up my various vehicle skills no end. I'm not sure I ever finished them. Valley of the Yeti might be your next purchase, especially if it goes on sale.

I'll skip it (arena bs) then, there are already too many weapons, mostly not very useful, and carry on with reset base caps, then maybe try another run thru with the unlock all mod (though there's an all weapons console cheat god_mode_count=1).

Yeah, I really enjoyed the assassinations. Second best fun to resetting the bases.

Whalp, I drunkbought "Yeti Hunters" DLC for 6.78 CAD and got PC-ASSASSIN'S CREED CHRONICLES-Full Game-CHINA for FREE last night from the ubi store (there's a "flash sale" going on for a coupla days). Resisted splashing out $20 for FC5.  :-@

(wtf is "Yeti Hunters"?)

Got kilt by a snow leopard first time out.  :-(

I dunno why, but after the first Yeti mission, this feels likes the game FC4 should have been (and no, haven't met any actual Yetis yet, just some stoner weirdos in a cave and soldiers wearing silly reindeer hats and 'shoot me' signs on their backs).

VotY is a worthy FC4 DLC. There's several nights (three, I think) of wave attacks and a few good gags & setups. Worth every penny.

It's a lot less challenging to find skins at the big box store than to have to hunt & kill 'em (but I cheated and googled for the main trove).

They are tough, but follow a stun-then-skirmish-kill pattern, as I remember (haven't played the DLC for a while).

One thing that's fun when you've re-acquired the wingsuit is to return to the original spawn point & fly into the map as far as you can.

Ooh, that does sound fun. Still exploring the limits of the valley, which apart from the central and original base cap (radio something), is pretty sparsely populated -- I encountered a lone 'hunter' enemy at the big box store, who took absolutely no notice of me driving right up to the gate in a snowmobile, so a deaf and blind 'hunter'.
