Brain-bender looks a risible mess, but has clever premise.

If you haven't played video games like Far Cry (and it's far from unique and original, except in the way it combines several video game tropes), then you'll probably think this is a terrible pastiche of film noir which most resembles strung-together cut scenes, which it totally is.

Not to be confused with Serenity (2005)

Looks a lot like his series Firefly.

That's because it is a sequel to/continuation of Firefly.

Amusing, but not his best work.
