Watched it before Breaking Bad and thought it was brilliant. New series in August :)
 

I found the supporting roles more interesting than the lead (and the actors more chops).

Saul had a far better part in BB, I was disappointed. Still, a worthy binge.

IMHO, better than Breaking Bad!

I've only seen the 2nd season of Saul, which apart from the righteous thug character was kind of a glorified soap, albeit a riveting one. Are the other seasons better?

I hope that means you've seen season one too?!

Season 3 is by far the best so far. You can really start to see Saul come to life in Jimmy and his brother Chuck is even more conniving and manipulative.

Just a shame season 4 is taking so long.

what is this, some kind of post-modern disregard for coherent story? Did you watch the episodes in random order too? Gah!

Nah, depends on what's available at the library. They very seldom have the complete series on hand, if at all. I want to see Saul mixing it up with drug dealers and bikers, not his boring brother.

Series 4 is all done. Best telly by a mile at the moment I reckon, so very very good.
