I've got a few S905 boxes running Libreelec for kodi. But you clearly want/need the android side too for apps. I've generally gone for the cheapest box I can find on Aliexpress.

My preference for Amlogic is because of the Libreelec support due to them being more open with kernel, drivers etc, which I can't imagine you're all that bothered with.

Was that an Android version problem?
