"energy boosts which reverse the setting sun"

Well, there you go, how can you play a game that has such disregard for the natural order of things? I can't suspend my disbelief enough for werewolves and zombies, let alone the passage of celestial bodies.

Not heard of that one, is it any good?

Yes. Xen likes it too. It's free goddamnit! Not sure what is making poor DSMITHHFX suffer having to pay.

I'll get it tonight, it'll be something else I'll probably never get around to playing!

Just got Steam back up and working, after a few weeks worth of troubleshooting.

Turns out it was a problem with my virginmedia super hub. I'd tweaked the firewall settings from 'low' to 'medium' security, and promptly forgot about it. A few days later Steam wouldn't connect to their servers. Cue a few strongly worded, but polite messages to Steam support and lots of waiting and frustration.  :-$

I did send an email to them saying I'd fixed it.

I had a quick 10 minute blast earlier. Can see it being very addictive.

I done told you! I even made our Harbinger of Failure laboriously explain the timing, not that I know what it meant in our time still. I barely know what time it is at all.

Laboriously? Noooo. MrsD. calls me 'Mister Lazy', and with considerable justification.

Yes, but did you tell me /enough/?!

No, no you didn't. :C

You should have just logged into steam and added it to your list, or whatever they do. That's what I did, and I don't even play many games!

What actually happens is you go so fast that you are travelling faster than the planet is rotating and thus the sun apparently goes up, rather than down. With one's ship being solar-powered this is a very good thing.

As Milko says, I like this game. It is a good.

That makes sense, sorta. They still should stop the fake marketing claims, although I guess "energy boosts which make you go faster than the planet's rotational speed" sounds less awesome than power over the solar system.

But I'm glad you like it.

I added this to my Steam library on my mobile in work yesterday. I hope I will at least try it out sometime. I really wish I had my desktop computer setup somewhere properly. I think I would possibly play more games on that than my laotop.
