You should try taking a risk some time, PB. You never know, you might enjoy yourself!

I want to vote for both "I attempted to upgrade a machine that doesn't matter if it screws up." (which attempt worked BTW) and "I'll be sticking to Windows 7 / XP / 98 / 3 until the end of time."

Does that make me a bad person?

Earlier I walked over a loose cable whilst carrying a cup of hot sugary tea very close to my rather expensive camera. Had I tripped, not only would I have scalded myself and fucked at least the lens, if not the body too, but there's a good chance I would have pulled a heavy and fragile studio light onto myself or someone nearby, probably ruining everyone's evening.

It wasn't the most thrilling moment of the week.

Depends. Did your inclination for seven alter after the execution of two?

Gonna wait awhile, at least. But I don't have any problems with 7 TBH, so overall meh

Plus the sticky mess of sugary tea doesn't bear thinking about! Personally I prefer tea without sugar ... or milk for that matter

TBH the only reason I have it is for consulting work

Haven't used it for a few months. Mint on my laptop which I'm more than happy with.

Managed risk doesn't count.

I might as well on account of my install already being broken. So I did!

My feelings about Fedora 19 --> 22 (except 19's been EOL'd).

Oh I usually drink it without sugar - when I make it myself. If someone else has made it, sugar is almost guaranteed. Also helps when I want to drink it quickly.

Are you still Arch or do you have a new favourite?

What? Do people not ask how you want it?

Some do. A few are able to understand what I ask for. Occasionally there are those that can actually execute it too. So it's generally easier to have sugar.

I find most people make others tea how they themselves like it, and assume a good cup of tea for them is good for everyone.

Last place I worked I did the tea round more than the rest of the department combined - both because I wanted mine done properly, and because I actually asked each person how they wanted it - and asked for feedback on whether I did it right - so they preferred me doing it.
Current place we all make our own - which is just as well since the crappy urn we have runs out of hot water after about three cups.
