Several people here used to run a small proxy program on their local machine to let them filter webpages (such as adverts on Delphi) it did clever matching and let you mess with stuff, anyone remember it? Even better can anyone remember what it was called.... or was it all a dream.

Yes, it was Proxomitron. I remember we used to use it to change the colour scheme of the old NPCFF (now that is going back a long way).

It isn't really supported anymore, as I recall the code writer died.  :-(

Well he discontinued the program before he died, but it's still been supported unofficially since then - there's current discussions at prxbx.com/forums, and even people hacking newer OpenSSL into it.

I did consider a while back implementing my own version of it as a browser plugin, but the necessary API wasn't available at the time (because Google suck), and now it is I don't have the time.
