You pretty much got what you gave, except in his usual style, Lynch tried to inspire discussion by making some fairly outrageous statements folks took too seriously. He was mostly taking the piss with you but it was taken too much to heart. He's actually a good chap, quite good as a Community Manager (and writer).

 

Teh's awards were better because they were probably unattainable and went unclaimed.
