I'm surprised that anyone is still using optical media...

A little while back I had some reason to put a disc in, I can't remember why, but it spinning up sounded like an aircraft taking off.

I actually had to buy a cheap USB DVD drive after buying my latest optical drive-less Alienware laptop but only because I wanted try try some of my old PC games, other than that I have no requirement.

I use Steam for games and Uncle Jim for films - download/watch/share/delete.

I blame Delphi that dragged me back to the NPCFF which pointed me to tehforum.net which prompted me to check this place out...

good heavens.

I got a USB DVD drive so that... I forget why but I'm sure I used it at least a couple of times in the past two years or so. Maybe I was ripping CDs.

Anyway. How are you?

Mine ended up in the Drawer of Clutter after realising that rose-tinted glasses do not make old games better.

I'm good thanks. Rapidly approaching 60 and contemplating retirement...

A month and nobody told me I'd been missing out!!? Good to hear from you. :)

On topic, i've got quite a few DVD and blu-rays but I have been managing to decrease the amount of space taken up recently.
Also got a collection of stuff download from Jim but there's not as much thereas there used to be, either
