With very well-timed choreography. The bending the light path with mirrored hands is very impressive though, as it looks like he's doing that for real.
It's choreographed with him moving in exactly the right places while the lighting moves and is lit up at the right times. The lights are timed and are doing all of the work, he's just having to make sure he's putting his hands in the right place to make it look like he's swinging them about. It looks like he's standing inside a ring of green narrow beam lights that not only light up individually but can move too to point the beam at angles upwards.
As I said though, it's been well choreographed and he must have practised that routine so many times to get the timing spot on. Very impressive.
Myself, Wattsy and Fozza saw him at the Gadget Show in Bristol a couple of years ago - quite impressive, it does indeed seem to be accurate choreography, laser pointers and mirrors. Still very cool!
