Subnetting. Kind of.

Subnetting has always been a bit of a grey area for me, I have only got into it for the scant few times I've ever needed it, then quickly forgotten it and just wanted to see if knowledgeable forumites could clear something up.

We've just got Mimecast installed and I'm trying to whitelist an IP address that sends mail externally, but looks like it's coming from our domain. Mimecast thinks it's being spoofed and blocks it. So I need to enter the IP into a get around of their inbound lockout policy. All straightforward so far - but they need the address in CIDR format, and I'm not sure how to represent a single address with it. From what I've read I think it'll be xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/32. IS THAT RIGHT?!  :-@

Ace biscuits. Thanks!  :-D

Also, as that's all solved, could this be the shortest thread ever?

Well, it's your own fault for asking a question and posting the answer in the same message.

 :-((

Would you have preferred it if I hadn't? Next time I've got a question, I'll post it in the form of a riddle.
