EA Crysis (3)

Fecking EA. Just spent an hour installing Crysis 3 then another 1/2 hour downloading the update only to be presented with a screen at launch informing me 'You must have a DX 11 capable GPU to play Crysis 3'.

There's nothing wrong with my graphics card, it runs all the latest games at decent settings with decent framerates and it's barely a couple of years old, but now in order to play one game I've got to go and buy a new card.

This is'nt the first time either, when the original Crysis came out I had to change my graphics card (which again wasn't that old and was running every other game quite happily) because it couldn't handle Crysis.

So what's a decent'ish DX 11 card for around £150 ?

Why would you want to play Crysis 3? Just watch some videos of it and you'll get the best of what it has to offer.

Crysis 3 isn't that bad.

I've only played about 1 1/2 hours so far and I'm liking it.

Looks very good now I can actually run it. Got a GTX 650 Ti SSC and my whole systems running better now, surprising how you don't notice things slowing down over a long period of time until you upgrade.
