Eyefinity and beyond

I'd like to convert Little Blue to Eyefinity so I can run games across all three Samsung 913n 5:4 VGA screens.  Currently the graphics are lashed together with two Radeon 6670 cards and the motherboard's built-in Radeon 3300.  Games can only run in one screen.

I don't particularly want to upgrade to digital monitors, as the Samsungs are still giving a perfect picture and a tri-widescreen monitor setup seems too long and skinny to me.

If I buy THIS Radeon 7850 (or equivalent) with 2 x dual-link DVI and a DisplayPort, and a DisplayPort adapter, will I be able to run all three monitors with Eyefinity?  And if not, why not?

Definitely check what ports it has. Because I just did a Google image search for Sapphire HD 7850 and they seem to have 1xDVI 2xMiniDP 1xHDMI.

The DVI /should/ be VGA compatible but I think you'll need converters/adapters for the MiniDP ones
