I think it was Mouse who mentioned it at some point.

Well I'm in a hotel room with pretty poor wifi. My Nexus 7 is much more stable on the wifi but my Nexus 4 is struggling. Installed opengarden on each and it's working great at sharing the Nexus 7 connection with my Nexus 4.

I've had varying results. When it works it's great but there were times it stopped working and it ended up taking longer to fiddle to get it working than it did to turn the hot spot on.

Uninstalled for now but let me know how you get on.

It's certainly useful if you're somewhere foreign so can't really hotspot.

In my case my Nexus 7 is sat somewhere in the room with better signal and I'm connecting with my phone. It has been a bit flaky but I think that's due to the poor wifi. Certain apps don't work though due to it not being a conventional connection.

Yeah that's right. I think it's apps that check if there's WiFi or 3G and if not they refuse to admit they can get connected.
