I'm sure I've moaned about this before, but...

I can update my display drivers without needing to reboot my laptop, so why the fuck does Apple think I need to reboot to upgrade a fucking MP3 player?

Asshats.

It's some cock or other about restarting services I think. I'm sure that the installation is completed during the reboot.

If you ask Apple they'll probably blame Microsoft.

Also; iTunes 11 is gash.

* iTunes. Don't need the 11.

:-D Indeed. Well, indeed-ish. There are things I like about iTunes but it seems to have gone a bit backwards with 11.

What is there to like about iTunes? Admittedly I don't really use it (got Spotify) and since I updated to 11, haven't used it at all.

In the past I've only used it to put stuff on my phone, and almost never as a music player.

Funny, because I always click "Restart later", launch iTunes, and everything works fine*.

*well, as fine as anything ever works with iTunes**.

** which is not really all that fine.

I don't have enough problems with iTunes to justify bothering with another player TBH. But I don't really care much either way.
