Listened to it all last night, some nice work there and more flowing than the first one. :-D

I didn't expect Kos to sound so 'big' (nj).

Thanks for the feedback guys, we really appreciate it.

Each time we do one of these we figure how we can make it a bit better.

I'm not sure what that means, but I think I'll be offended just in case.

:-O

:-&

What I meant was that you sound deeper and bassier than I thought you would from seeing pictures of yourself.

No fat bastard insult intended. Though, looking at those pictures again... :>

Anybody else listened to this and happy to provide feedback?

Next one is being recorded a week tomorrow and I already have a few ideas on how keep improving, but would like to get objective feedback.

Yes, if you're going to go to the trouble of editing it, at least edit out yourself opening the can of Redbull :)

Even Kenny got confused briefly the second time it happened!

I would hope so (nod nod)...
Not least on the lack of jingle music :)

Ohh if only I could take the blame ....

That would be Kos (I know because I debated cutting it from his audio track).
Also it was a much more patriotic can of Tennants lager!

The same can which he spilt all over his carpet later on that podcast!

I listened while I pulled some CAT5 through my walls and into the attic, so my attention wasn't always the best. But I enjoyed it. I think I enjoy the accents more than anything.

Why'd you use CAT5 and not 6? Just wondering 'cos (as mentioned in a thread I'd forgotten about) I'm getting ready to cable my house up and was toying with paying the extra for CAT6 just to be future proofed n'that. Not that anything I'll be using ATM will need use the extra bandwidth.

It's actually 5e which does Gigabit as well. It's just what I had a box of. I have most of my shop and basement wired with it and Gigabit works fine.

That's an Americanism that confuses me still. Your "shop". Is that like what we would call our garage or our shed. Except those are generally outbuildings and I think your shop sounds like it's within your house. But a room with loads of tools and shit.

A shop is a shop, like what you guys call a store for some reason.
From: Peter (BOUGHTONP)18 Jul 2012 16:40

Probably derived from workshop?
From: Ken (SHIELDSIT)18 Jul 2012 16:56
To: milko 36 of 43
Ah, I see. Sorry. Sometimes people do call a workshop a shop but in this case it's a building that I used to have my business in. Right now it's full of stuff that we don't have room for, but I'm planning on remodeling it and turning it into a place where the kids can hang out.

Aha, thanks PB and Ken! I should've thought of that.

"it's a building that I used to have my business in."

So in this case he meant ....erm ...his shop :)
