I'm too apathetic to rant, but I had an Excel spreadsheet with a huge number of hyperlinks to an external database that I was checking. I opened up Microsoft's idiot spreadsheet today and it proclaimed that it had 'fixed' the formulae for me. What it really meant to tell me is that it fucking vaped all the links.

I could cry, but I'm a man and men don't cry. Instead, I shall hit something.

It's no matter now, I did it old skool. :{)

Just took me much longer, and more swearing than is necessary. But it was all directed at Microsoft and our crappy IT, so perhaps it wasn't wasted.

But it didn't achieve any changes at Microsoft or with your IT Dept did it?

No, but I felt better. And although I don't know about Microsoft, I'm pretty certain that our IT resource (I won't say dept, as that's old hat in industry) is impervious to change from the lower ranks. Been there, done that, refused to answer further surveys. :C
